When you first walk through the doors of Security Florist you are likely to be greeted by Lexi, an adorable German shepherd and one of 4 animals that enjoy their days at the shop. The animals are all friendly and add an air of comfort and home to this family owned shop.

  I had the pleasure of speaking with Carole who co-owns the store with her brother. Security Florist got its start on July 1, 1967 by Carole’s grandmother, mother, and aunt and remains a family owned business.  They contract with all of the major wire services to provide a wide variety of choices to their clients. The delivery service extends throughout the Colorado Springs area and they have even been known to go as far as parts of Pueblo or Peyton.
